The Winged Horse
A mythological creature designed and brought to life for a documentary film.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The goal was not simply to show a flying horse. It was to make the creature feel like a documentary subject with real weight, presence and a physical connection to its location.
Artificial Magic developed the winged horse’s appearance, wing anatomy, costume and transformation through golden particles. Across the sequence, the creature’s body, wings, location and light were kept visually coherent so the shots would feel as though they belonged to the same filmed world.
